This in-person role is based in Urbana and requires in person presence. As a part of the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Social Work and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS) are collaborating to support the implementation of evidence-based interventions (EBI) to prevent child abuse and neglect in Illinois. The Implementation Support Specialist will support provider agencies implementing Evidence Based Interventions throughout Illinois to enhance family access to services, increase awareness, and general knowledge of the EBIs. Closes March 14th, 2025.

Collaboration with FISP Director to develop and implement program strategies, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely achievement of outcomes. Oversee data management and analysis activities, leveraging insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives. Train the Illinois model of wraparound to Care Coordination and Support Organization (CCSO) staff and leadership, provide on-going coaching and support for CCSO staff, provide oversight of fidelity to the wraparound model, serve as SME for SOC curriculum. Closes March 24th, 2025.

Work closely with the PRIDE Program Administrator to support program goals, ensure high-quality service delivery, and maintain the effectiveness and integrity of the PRIDE program. Oversee assigned projects, manage continuous quality improvement activities, and support core program operations. Supervise trainers and support staff, act as a liaison between PRIDE, DCFS, and private child welfare agencies, and, in collaboration with the Senior Statewide Director of Workforce Development, provide program leadership coverage in the Program Administrator’s absence. The Program Assistant provides essential administrative and coordination support for the PRIDE program. Key responsibilities include assisting the Program Coordinator with training schedules, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring class capacities are monitored in the Learning and Development Center (LDC). The role also involves handling communication through the PRIDE shared mailbox, supporting data management and reporting, and assisting with special projects. Closes March 10, 2025.

As funded by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS), Bilingual PRIDE Trainers are responsible for facilitating trainings for the PRIDE Foster and Adoptive Parent Training Program to prospective, relative/fictive kin, licensed, and adoptive/sub-guardianship caregivers across Illinois through web-based, instructor-led, and hybrid learning formats for the Learning and Development Unit within the Office of Learning and Professional Development (OLDP).
Bilingual PRIDE Trainers may be selected to participate in caregiver curriculum translation events as part of PRIDE’s ongoing efforts to collaboratively work with IDCFS to increase the availability of Spanish language caregiver trainings in Illinois. Closes March 6, 2025.
